CWG Plc Announces Changes to its Executive Leadership Team—Mr. Obioha transits to Non-Executive Director

The Board of Directors of Computer Warehouse Group Plc (“CWG” or “the Company”) recently announced the changes in the Company’s executive management.

Mr Phillip Obioha, formerly the Chief Operating Officer has transited to Non-Executive Director. Prior to his switch to the new role, Mr Obioha led the former Communications division of Computer Warehouse Group (CWG) Plc to become the foremost provider of Wide Area, Metropolitan, and Local area networks to corporate organizations, which made remote banking possible in the Nigerian banking system. Today, the footprints of CWG Plc can be seen in every transaction made at bank locations and other platforms.

Computer Warehouse Group (CWG Plc), the leading Pan-African Information Communications Technology, has been selected as a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF). This is in recognition of her contribution to the realization of WEF’s mission of “improving the state of the world” while she served as a Global Growth Company (GGC) on the forum.

This was contained in a statement by the representative of WEF in Nigeria, Mr. Babajide Fawole. According to it, “In recognition of the key role you have played in the realization of WEF’s mission to improve the state of the world as a Global Growth Company, WEF has restructured your engagement and is proud to welcome you as a Forum Member.”

CWG Ghana Limited, a member of the leading Pan African ICT Company, Computer Warehouse Group (CWG Plc), has received the GS ISO 9001:2008, a Quality Management System Standard that recertifies the company to provide world class rate business enabling solutions in the country.

The issuance of the approval certificate follows a rigorous assessment carried out by the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA) following an application by CWG Ghana to have its Quality Management Systems (QMS) audited and certified in compliance with international standards and best practices.
